Facts
Honoring of Memorial Day originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.
The Parade
Each year on Memorial Day our Post 3054 sponsors the Three Village Memorial Day parade. The parade kicks off near Setauket Presbyterian Church and the library at 11 a.m. and travels east down Main Street on Route 25A.
